Cuore e Burlesque
Cuore e Burlesque is the home of burlesque in Romagna and Marche, founded by international performer, producer and coach Freaky Candy.
It was born in 2015 in Rimini and quickly grew and expanded in 4 cities and two regions: Rimini, Riccione (2016), Pesaro (2019) and Forlì (2020). Through its activity, it has created a real burlesque community ( among students, performers and fans) in the city of Rimini and its surrounding areas.
Cuore e Burlesque is the first burlesque academy to have a public manifesto of its values: body positivity, feminism, anti-racism, anti-fascism, and support for the lgbtqia+ and minorities. The school organizes workshops and shows with international artists from the professional scene of the industry, and has an active cooperation with the Burlesque Hall of Fame, for which in 2021 – in collaboration with Freaky Candy – it produced the VHOF, the virtual show that aimed to represent the best of the Italian burlesque scene.
Cuore e Burlesque is a Community that believes in the strength and power of mutual support between women and opens its arms to any gender identity. Our classes are all GENDER FREE.
