Freaky Candy is the producer of the event and the founder of Cuore e Burlesque ASD, the home of burlesque in Romagna and Marche, established in 2015.

Freaky is an international performer, producer, and coach. Awarded “The Most Beautiful” at The Great Burlesque Expo in Boston in 2016, Freaky has built her career performing at renowned shows and festivals across Europe, the United States, and Canada.

Freaky Candy performs and teaches Burlesque in Italy, USA and Canada, including the prestigious Burlesque Academy of Miss Indigo Blue in Seattle!

She is the first Italian coach to have taught at BurlyCon, the only burlesque education convention in America and she is one of the founding members of the Teacher’s Lounge Mastermind with Indigo Blue.

In 2021, she produced the Italian online show for the Burlesque Hall of Fame, included in the Virtual Hall of Fame, a 48-hour non-stop international showcase representing the diversity and beauty of burlesque scenes worldwide.

Over the years, Freaky has created a true burlesque community in Rimini and the surrounding areas, bringing world-famous artists to her events. Her love for this art has captivated audiences, creating a virtuous circle that has inspired many people to embrace burlesque.

Her activism in supporting minorities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and women victims of violence has enabled her to use performative art to spread awareness and raise funds.

The Festival represents the culmination of many years of work and dedication, as well as a first step toward change—a new era for this type of event.
